Call To Action-home.jpeg

Fall in love with Kenmare and Kerry by booking a stay at The Lansdowne Kenmare today.

The Lansdowne Kenmare

Neidin is the Irish word for Kenmare and translates to Little Nest. A Little Nest was envisaged in 1790 when The Lansdowne first opened its door.

The Lansdowne Kenmare has been part of the history of Kenmare since it was built as the town residence of William Petty Fitzmaurice in 1790, the 2nd Earl of Shelburne, and is one of the oldest landmarks in Kenmare.

It now stands as a beacon welcoming guests to wander this quaint town's streets and explore the breathtaking scenery surrounding it.

Today, The Lansdowne Kenmare brings that same excitement and charm but with 21st-century elegance for your comfort and enjoyment. We firmly believe no guest should stay only once, and your first visit should be the first of many. You will enjoy warm service, stylish décor, and delicious food in our Shelburne Street Restaurant and The Nead. Fantastic scenery, fresh air, great restaurants, real pubs, and quirky local shops are all part of an escape to this special corner of Kerry.

This town hotel's calming style is perfect for unwinding at the end of a day, sightseeing, walking or simply browsing Kenmare's streets and shops.

Think of Tomorrow

The team in The Lansdowne Kenmare have been incredibly moved by the world's youth peacefully raising awareness of climate change. It has made us think and look at everything we do differently.
